Donald Trump has told a rally that while he doesn’t condone the home-made pipe bombs that were sent to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, it was proof America’s steel industry was booming under his presidency.
“This never would’ve happened if Hillary was president,” he told the jubilant crowd. “If she was president she would’ve been threatened with a bomb made from imported steel, believe me”.
Mr Trump said it was a sign his policies were working. “We’re re-opening steel factories. We’re bringing jobs back to America!”
