Scott Morrison Gives Wife Gorgeous Lump Of Coal For Valentine’s Day

Proving he’s still a ladies’ man, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has revealed that he gave his wife a stunning lump of coal this morning, as part of a romantic Valentine’s Day gift.

Wiping away black grime from his hands, Mr Morrison said it was one of the most precious and most beautiful stones available. “It’s so versatile. You can wear it as a necklace, place it into a ring, or put it into a high cupboard, which is what my wife has chosen to do,” he said.

He said the rare stone was Australian made. “I’ve always just loved this stone so much, and I know the ladies do too. Gold and silver are nice too, sure. But there’s something about a chunk of dirty coal that really says ‘I love you’.

Greens leader Richard Di Natale gave his wife a hydroelectric generator.
