US Government Shutdown Enters 104th Week

The US has entered its 724th day without a functioning government, with no end in sight to the growing crisis.

The country has been without an adult in charge since 20th January 2017, when a 70 year-old little boy became President. He has been in his bedroom watching cable and playing on his phone ever since.

Experts say a restart to the government is unlikely in the short-term, with the shutdown likely to continue for at least another 22 months, possibly longer.

More to come.
