The Wiggles will headline the entertainment component of Donald Trump’s inauguration, it has been confirmed.
Organisers had initially struggled to find an act for the historic occasion, but said today the children’s group was their first choice.
Trump campaign staffer Billy Lambeth said they didn’t want to alienate Trump supporters or Trump himself by booking acts that use big words in their songs.

Asked whether he preferred performing to Trump or his regular fanbase of 5 year-olds, Wiggle Anthony Field said, “The screaming and tantrums do wear a bit thin. So yeah, I probably prefer our regular gigs”.
