Attending Sophie Mirabella’s Wedding DEFINITELY Work, Experts Say

Sophie Mirabella satire

Experts from the Finance Department say Prime Minister Tony Abbott was right to claim flights to Sophie Mirabella’s wedding as a work expense, suggesting the event could more accurately be described as hard labour.

“There’s work, there’s hard work, and then there’s spending an evening with the former member for Indi. I’m surprised he didn’t claim more,” said one official.

“I’ve been to training seminars that are more fun,” said one Sydney resident who was at the wedding. “I think we should be thankful that our elected representatives are willing to give up their free time to go to events like this. Tony definitely took one for the team”.

Looks like the horse had the right idea-wearing a funeral veil to such a pitiful event.

I DO NOT THINK FOR ONE MOMENT THAT ATTENDING A WEDDING IS WORK RELATED.IT’S WRONG TO CLAIM FOR THAT EXPENSE AS WORK RELATED IT SHOULD BE A PERSONAL EXPENSE ,NOT A TAXPAYER’S ONE.

Talk about the Liberal snouts in the trough. Brandis and Barnaby at Smiths wedding, will the DJ declare conflict of interest every time he sucks up to Liberals? Poor old Peter Slipper lost his job and prosecuted for less!
