Deputy Opposition Leader Julie Bishop hit back at suggestions the Coalition had a dirt file on Julia Gillard, saying the image of Abbott staffer Peta Credlin holding a folder labelled ‘Gillard/AWU’ was digitally altered by Labor troublemakers.

Ms Bishop released the original, unaltered image (below) along with the statement: “As if we’d focus all of our attention on digging up dirt instead of developing policies!”

Failed US Presidential candidate Mitt Romney weighed into the issue saying he’d seen a binder full of women before, but never a woman full of binders.
